OGDEN — An Ogden man accused of fleeing from detox treatment at Ogden Regional Hospital while inebriated and causing several accidents, including one death, was charged Tuesday with murder.
Tyson Bryce Treasure, 26, was arrested Friday following a police chase and charged Tuesday with murder, a first-degree felony; automobile homicide and two counts of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, second-degree felonies; failure to remain at an accident involving death, failure to stop at command of police, and two counts of failure to remain at an accident involving serious injury, third-degree felonies; and six counts of failure to comply with duties at a vehicle accident, a class B misdemeanor.
Treasure came to the Ogden Regional Hospital while drunk on Friday, with tests showing a blood-alcohol level of .248, almost five times Utah’s legal limit, according to charging documents.
