SALT LAKE CITY — A food truck worker who invited an intoxicated woman into his truck is accused of inappropriately touching the woman.
Ibrahim Bakar, 47, of Taylorsville, was charged Friday in 3rd District Court with forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony.
On Aug. 20, a woman was at a Salt Lake City club with friends and “went outside to get food from the Fresh N’ Fried food truck,” according to charging documents.
The woman was “intoxicated and was struggling to stand up straight,” charging documents state. Bakar invited her to sit inside his food truck, and the woman accepted. But while sitting there, Bakar started to inappropriately kiss and touch her, according to prosecutors.
The woman got out of the truck, told her friends what had allegedly happened and police were called.
Prosecutors have requested Bakar be incarcerated without the possibility of posting bail until his trial.
