SALT LAKE CITY — A fatal car crash on 700 East, a block north of Liberty Park, has closed the road “for several hours,” according to Salt Lake police.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., and northbound lanes between 800 and 700 South have been closed by emergency personnel while an investigation takes place.
No other information about the crash was available.
Police say they are also investigating an unrelated crash near 800 South and 600 East, and are encouraging drivers to avoid both areas.
