BOUNTIFUL — An Amber Alert issued Sunday morning for the apparent abduction of a 12-year-old girl in Bountiful has been canceled.

The alert was issued about 7:50 a.m. after police said the girl was abducted from 440 W. 200 North in Bountiful by two adult men. It was canceled at 8:27 a.m. by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Authorities have not given a reason why the alert was canceled.

There is not yet a confirmation about the whereabouts or the current condition of the girl.
